St Stephen's Lavender Tea for 2022

On October 16, the third annual “Lavender Tea” following the morning liturgy. The tea was a fundraiser for the North Shore Harvest Project. The lavender had been stripped from the church gardens and fashioned into sachets and tea bags. Many raffle items in lavender colours were donated, with a generous donation of chocolates and gift items from next-door neighbour ‘The Westerly”. Raffle tickets were sold to all guests resulting in most people receiving a gift. The event was chaired by Mollie Anthony and Caroline Sutherland, with enthusiastic help from Jan Harvey, Carol Harrington and Georgie Reddington. Delightful background music was supplied on the piano by Dianne McKinnon, and the draw was handled by Anton Taylor. The total proceeds of $1061.00 were donated to the North Shore Harvest Project.
