The Most Rev. Frederick Hiltz, Primate of the Anglican Church of Canada receives cheques totaling $1,500 for the Primates World Relief and Development Fund from three organizations at St. Mark’s, Ocean Park, November 11.
The donor organizations are: St. Mark’s Men’s Club, $500 for Syrian Refugees; St. Mark’s Anglican Church Women, $500 for PWRDF’ decision of greatest need; and St. Mark’s Women’s Evening Guild, $500 for the Philippines.The Primate receives the cheques from John Braddock, who with his wife Roberta, are the parish representatives to PWRDF.
Earlier in the evening Archbishop Fred Hiltz, addressed a crowded gathering in St. Mark’s Sanctuary, on the many positive developments through PWRDF in northern Canada. And, worldwide, the effectiveness of reconciliation and ongoing communications in bringing change.
