Silent Night Project Sunday is this Sunday, November 28th, Advent I. (Where did the time go? It was just summer!)Some D of NW parishes have already done their video recording and submitted the finished production. We at the Synod office filmed our performance on November 17th but it is in need of a little editing. Hopefully it will be up on the web soon.

The Venerable Dr. Ellen Clark-King, Priest Associate of Christ Church Cathedral and Archdeacon of Burrard has written a special Advent verse for Silent Night. Please feel free to add it to your recording.

Silent night, holy night,
God draws nigh, son of light,
Deep in silence, words of hope ring
Christ is coming, love's on the wing,
Wake to see God's light dawn!
Wake to see God's light dawn.

The most important tip of all is to have fun, be creative, and "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord."

Please take still pictures of your Silent Night event, and forward them to
Diocesan Communications.
Pictures should be taken on the highest resolution setting on digital cameras.
The Topic deadline for the January issue is November 30th and it would be great to have a few still photographs of Silent Night Project participation around the D of NW in that issue.
