Rev. Margaret Cornish Nominated for City of Richmond Award

Nearly three dozen Richmond women are nominated in 5 categories for the 2010 Ethel Tibbits Women of Distinction Awards, which recognizes the achievements and contributions of local women to the betterment of the City of Richmond. One of the nominees is St. Alban’s Incumbent, the Rev. Margaret Cornish in the Community category.

Ethel Tibbits was the firebrand first editor of the Richmond Review newspaper.
Congratulations to Margaret. The award recipients will be announced at a dinner on May 18th. Regardless of the outcome it was an honour for Margaret to be nominated and she and her parish are a great example of living into the Plan 2018 priorities of : Participating in Local Communities, Cultivating Interfaith Understanding and Addressing Issues of Poverty.
