New Administrative Assistant to Synod Office

We are pleased to announce that Marion Nyiransaba has been appointed the new Administrative Assistant and receptionist to the Synod office, effective September 3.  
 
Marion came to Canada from Uganda almost one year ago. She is trained in Social Work and Community Development. Marion has extensive experience working in Administrative Assistant roles for USAID funded HIV/ AIDS and Malaria projects in Uganda. Since arriving in Canada Marion has become active in the community as a volunteer with the City of Burnaby Citizen Support Services and at St. Stephen The Martyr Anglican Church, Burnaby. Marion says, “I love that administrative work gives me an opportunity to work and meet various skilled people. I am super excited to be apart of the Synod and Diocese team. I am a people-person, creative and like to plan and organize events.”  Outside of work, Marion is a mother of three sons who are home in Uganda, love to party and watch non-scary movies.
