On Tuesday, September 6th at 7pm, an Exhibition of Rare Bibles will open at the UBC Library Special Collections,
Barber Learning Centre. The official opening will feature a lecture:
An Eighty Year Journey: the Making of the King James Bible by Professor Gerald Hobbs of VST. This lecture will be followed by a reception.
A second lecture will be given on Saturday, September 17th at VST's Chapel of the Epiphany, at 7pm:
Memory, Meaning, and Rhetorical Power: the KJV and its Legacy by Professor David L. Jeffrey of Baylor University.
The Bible Exhibition will be open: September 7 through October 29 , Monday to Friday, 9-5, Saturdays, 12-5. Groups of ten or more are invited to request a guided tour with Professor Hobbs by calling 604.817.1943
