Oridnations at Petertide
God-willing, the Bishop will ordain Helen Lingham (St Andrew, Langley) and Paul Richards (Most Holy and Undivided Trinity, White Rock) to the Vocational Diaconate and Clare Morgan (Christ Church Cathedral) and Alex Wilson (St Paul) to the Transitional Diaconate on the Eve of SS Peter and Paul - Sunday, June 28th -- at 4pm in St Mary's, Kerrisdale. The liturgical colour is red.
Departures
The Rev. Christine Rowe will be leaving as Rector of St. Catherine, Capilano effective July 31st (to include unspent vacation) with her last Sunday, June 21st while the Parish undergoes restructuring including a reduction from full-time to 3/4 time. An Interim Priest-in-Charge will be required at 3/4 time for a 12-18 month period beginning on or about July 1st. Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the Canonical Committee who will make their recommendation to the Bishop.
The Rev. Michael Fuller has resigned as Rector of St. John, Shaughnessy effective August 31st (to include unspent vacation) with his last Sunday being August 2nd. A priest will be needed during the interim as the Canonical Committee undertakes its work of preparing a profile. Qualified applicants will be interviewed by the Canonical Committee who will make their recommendation to the Bishop.
