The Reverend Michael Fuller will begin his new ministry as Incumbent of St. John’s, Shaughnessy, Sunday, July 15th (St. Swithin’s Day), 2012. Bishop Michael will install Fr. Fuller as Rector, Wednesday evening (time TBC), September 12th, 2012.
Fr. Michael comes to us from the Diocese of London where for the past fifteen years he has been the Incumbent of the United Benefice of St George, Campden Hill and St John the Baptist, Holland Road. He served his curacy at All Saints’, Fulham prior to being appointed Priest-in-Charge of St George, Campden Hill for two years. Born and raised in Devon, Michael did his post-secondary studies in Plymouth and theology at Chichester. Before his ordained vocation Father Fuller spent twenty years with Philip Morris International beginning as a Mechanical Engineer and retired as CEO, Philip Morris Overseas Incorporated. He serves on the Development Board of Christian Aid, an agency similar to PWRDF, and on the Development Board of the Anglican Centre in Rome. He is a Fellow of the British Institute of Management. Michael is one of the few clerics who has two patents registered to him for two tools he created for the maintenance of boilers. Father Fuller is an avid reader, appreciates opera, enjoys travel and prefers fine wine (not necessarily in that order.)
