Birding and The Holy Spirit

Birding & the Holy Spirit Morning retreat/workshop

At Chilliwack Community Forest

Come for an exploration of how birdlife might give us new insight into the nature of the Spirit and how birding can be a spiritual practice. Over the morning we will gather and pray, have fun with a birding app, go birdwatching, and discover how the Spirit is imaged as bird through scripture and tradition. No need to have any birding experience. Bring binoculars.

Jessica is the Missioner for Christian Formation in the Diocese of New Westminster. She is passionate about spiritual formation and the various ways we learn and deepen into our faith. Jessica has just completed the creation of The Learning Centre on the Diocesan website. She is married and enjoys time with her daughter.
