The Reverend Dr. Wendy Fletcher, Principal and Dean of the Vancouver School of Theology announced July 23rd that the Rev. Dr. Richard Leggett currently on sabbatical has chosen to take early retirement from his position at VST. Richard was Associate Dean of the School and Professor of Liturgical Studies and had been a faculty member for 23 years.
Richard currently serves as an Honorary Priest at St. Faith's Anglican church where his partner Paula is the Incumbent.
Richard has been named Emeritus Professor of Liturgical Studies and will continue his association with VST.
Retirement celebrations for Richard will be linked to the VST 40th Anniversary and Annual Convocation ceremonies to be held May, 2011.
