On October 27, St. Thomas, Chilliwack held its well-attended annual harvest dinner. It’s one of those special events when everyone chips in to do their part. The food was great, and the fellowship first class. We had fun selling off table order before the buffet and quickly raised $150 for our Building Capital Fund. Now for those of you that don’t know about table order, it is a process where tables of diners bid money for the opportunity to get to the buffet first. Proceeds from the dinner always go to the parish operating account, and because so much is donated net donation approaches gross sales. Couldn't be better!
