The Parish of St. Timothy on Willingdon and Kitchener will once again opens its doors, this year for a rummage sale with strawberry tea on June 20.
It includes a traditional Strawberry Tea to appeal to the taste buds, a rummage sale full of treasurers and a variety of children’s games and activities. Admission is free and tickets will be available to purchase for the strawberry tea and various activities.
The Reverend Stephanie Shepard said, “Where else will you find a traditional afternoon tea matched with a quintessential church rummage sale? St. Timothy’s is at the heart of this North Burnaby neighbourhood; come enjoy this event with all your friends and neighbours!”
Doors open for the rummage sale at 10am, with strawberry teas served from 11am to 2pm. It is a fundraiser for the new kitchen which the parish hopes to install this year.
