The Reverend Paul Borthistle,
Director for Parish Support Ministries, the Officers of the Diocese of New Westminster and the Synod Staff are pleased to announce the appointment of the Reverend Marnie Peterson to the post of MAP Resource Associate.
This position is in support of the Diocesan Strategic initiative to develop and deliver the
Ministry Assessment Process (MAP) and the Parish Mission Review (PMR) to parishes and regions of the Diocese of New Westminster.
The position begins September, 2010, is half-time and continues for 16 months. During her tenure, Marnie will be responsible for working with the MAP implementation team to support parishes engaged in MAP and facilitate the PMR. Marnie will lead and/or assist in: developing and delivering MAP/PMR materials, training and supporting mentors, coordinators and MAP chaplains and will work closely with MAP Associate Tasha Carrothers.

I was ordained priest in December 2005 and since completing my curacy at St. Alban’s Richmond, I have been fortunate enough to work in several parishes in this Diocese in transitional ministry. I have three children and a partner with whom I love to spend my time and so far the balance that I live as mother, wife and priest has felt truly blessed.
