General Synod will be held here in Vancouver at the Sheraton Wall Centre and at Christ Church Cathedral from Wednesday, July 10 through to Tuesday, July 16.

Much of GS2019 will be live streamed online via General Synod's YouTube channel.  

There will be two locations available in the Diocese of New Westminster where folks may gather and watch the live stream.

They are:  

  • The Conference Room at the Synod Offices, 1410 Nanton Avenue in Vancouver: Thursday, July 11; Friday, July 12; Monday, July 15; Tuesday, July 16 during office hours 9am - 4pm  
  • In the sanctuary at St Dunstan's, located at 3025 - 264th Street, Aldergrove. Please contact the parish by telephone after July 10 at 604.856.5393 and access the parish voicemail where you will find viewing schedule information.  

As more detailed live streaming venue information becomes available it will also be posted on the diocesan website and Facebook page.  

The first live stream broadcast will be the Opening Eucharist from Christ Church Cathedral beginning at 7:30pm.
