St. Mark's
13th Annual Journey of Christmas is open December 15th - 27th.
The Journey of Christmas has become a holiday tradition for many families in Surrey, White Rock and beyond. All are welcome to experience this tradition with family, friends and neighbours. The Journey is family-oriented and wheelchair and stroller accessible.
The Journey of Christmas is set in the woods behind St. Mark's church. Every evening the church opens up to guide visitors on a journey through the woods to witness the Christmas story as told through nine tableaus. Each of the nine outdoor theatres tells part of the story of Christmas through a painted backdrop, mannequins, theatre props, lighting and an audio soundtrack. The "journey" takes 22 minutes. At the end of their" journey", visitors are invited inside the church hall for hot chocolate, cookies and carol singing.
St. Mark's Journey of Christmas is open from 6:00PM to 9:00PM each evening, except on Christmas Eve. Journey of Christmas is closed Christmas Day. Admission is by donation.
