Saturday October 12, 2019 is the launching of St Paul’s new informal worship gathering - “Encounter at St. Paul’s Labyrinth”.
Our Saturday Encounter (as it is fondly called) is a cafe style worship which will be held every Saturday at 6pm in the Labyrinth at St. Paul’s, a full 13-metre replica of the medieval labyrinth laid in the stone floor of the 13th-century Cathédrale de Notre-Dame de Chartres, 80Km south of Paris.
Spearheaded by our very energetic rector – The Revd Philip Cochrane, "Saturday Encounter" aims to make the message of Christ’s love relevant to the needs of the community.
If you can't make it Sundays for worship, Not sure about meeting in a church sanctuary, Looking for something organic and informal -- Our New Saturday Encounter service may be perfect for you!
We are very excited about the launching of our new worship gathering and would love to see you there on Saturday Oct 12 (and every Saturday thereafter!)- our cafe style gathering with a special St. Paul's twist! We offer music and simple refreshments served in a positive and welcoming ambience.
No matter what your spiritual path is, we welcome and provide an inclusive and accepting space for everybody.
The Labyrinth at St. Paul's is located beside the church at 1140 Jervis Street. Please enter via the big red double door (Jervis Street side).
