Diocesan Standing Committees routinely meet within the friendly confines of the Board Room at the Synod Offices at 401 West Georgia in downtown Vancouver or in the meeting room of a parish. The Communications Committee responding to an invitation from Bishop Michael to participate in a discussion at St. Timothy’s in Burnaby decided to hold its first meeting of 2012 at one of Burnaby’s Brentwood Mall locations of a well-known coffee shop chain.
