The Award winning Christ Church Cathedral Choir under the leadership of Organist and Director of Music, Rupert Lang will forgo their regular Thursday night rehearsal on December 15th and travel the few kilometres south to St. John's Shaughnessy.
The happy outcome of their journey will be a Christmas service of Lessons and Carols in the sanctuary of St. John's, Shaughnessy beginning at 8pm.
Rupert and the choir are excited about this opportunity to lead the music in worship at SJS and enthusiastically urge everyone in the D of NW and beyond to take advantage of this opportunity of hearing one of the finest choirs in Canada singing in one of the best sounding church spaces in Vancouver.
It's also a great way to get into the Advent/Christmas spirit.
There is no admission charge. The service is public worship so there will be an opportunity to make a free will offering.
