Dear Parish Family,

Well, Bell Hall is down.  I understand that a number of you showed up to watch on Monday.  Here are some photos from Monday and Tuesday and a short video of the backhoe at work is attached.

Now that the hall is removed, Parish Council, with our new vicar, Louie, will be meeting with representatives from the Diocese to plan for our ministry over the next 3 to 5 years.  Our first meeting is scheduled for August 11.
You are invited!!!  to Louie Engnan's Induction Service this Monday, July 13, at 7 PM at CtR.  We will have guests from the Diocese and even without hymn singing, and refreshments afterwards, it will be a lovely service.  July 13 is the Saint Day of Henry, the English Missionary Bishop to Finland in 1152.  Henry became the patron saint of Finland in 1300.  (How's that for Church history trivia!)
For those of you who were in church last Sunday, you will have heard Susan's invitation to have a banner workbee to augment our banners for the Induction Service.  The day has been changed to Friday - July 10, from 9 - 11 AM.  Please bring scissors if you have them and enjoy some creative fun.  Tables will be set up in the sanctuary so you can visit with friends but still maintain that 2 metre distance.
