On Sunday, May 6th, the announcement was made at St. Mary's,
Kerrisdale, that the Canonical Committee had selected a candidate and
submitted his name to Bishop Michael. The Bishop has now appointed The
Reverend Jeremy Clark-King, Rector of St. Mary's.
Jeremy will begin his new ministry August 1st, 2012, following one
year of Interim ministry at St. Christopher's, West Vancouver and seven
years as Incumbent at St. Martin's, North Vancouver.
Following his 2004 arrival from England with his spouse The Venerable Dr. Ellen Clark-King, currently Archdeacon of Burrard and Priest Associate at Christ Church Cathedral
he quickly became involved in ministry at the parish and diocesan levels
taking on various leadership roles on Diocesan Standing Committees and
ad hoc working groups.
Jeremy succeeds St. Mary's Interim Priest-in-Charge, The
Reverend Paul Borthistle who began his ministry at SMK, September of
2010.
Stay tuned for more details about Jeremy's appointment and upcoming installation.
