On Saturday September 16, the Parish of St. Helen's Surrey was pleased to re-launch their annual International Dinner. This was the first International Dinner held since the pandemic. A sold-out crowd enjoyed cuisine from around the world and from the countries of origin of members of the parish. The centre piece included a spit roasted pig that was donated by a parishioner.

During the evening, people were invited to place a pin on the world map indicating the country they are from. A band, Max 11, also provided music and an opportunity for people to dance the night away.

While there was a lot of work that went into planning and organizing the event, the relationships formed and community built made all the planning and hard work more than worthwhile.
