Super Typhoon Mangkhut

While North America remains primarily concerned with Hurricane Florence, a much more dangerous storm, Typhoon Mangkhut is heading toward a direct hit on the Northern Philippines. Meteoroligical experts are calling Mangkhut a “SuperTyphoon”. The typhoon made landfall at approximately 1pm PDT.

Please keep the people of the Philippines in your prayers, especially our companions in the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Philippines (EDNP).

The Executive Archdeacon, the Venerable Douglas Fenton has been in touch with his counterpart in our Companion Diocese, EDNP to assure them of our prayers.
