On Sunday, May 14, 2017, St. Paul's Anglican Church will have guest speaker - Imam Mohammad Shujaath Ali Nadwi during the 9am and 11am services to talk about Islam 101.
Imam Mohammad Shujjaath Ali Nadwi is the Imam at Masjidul Haqq (Mosque), Vancouver, BC. His long line of credentials include a Bachelor's Degree in Islamic sciences from the renowned Islamic university Darul Uloom Nadwatul Ulama in Lucknow, India; Masters Degree in Islamic jurisprudence from the Islamic research institute Al Mahadul Aali Al islami in Hyderabad, India. He is a member of the Religious Board of British Columbia Muslim Association and the Community Network, Canadian Race Relations Foundation. He was nominated as Ambassador for Peace by the Universal Peace Federation in 2006 Member, Muslim, Christian and Jewish Triologue Committee and a participant in various Multifaith activities of the Ecumenical and Multifaith Unit (EMU) of the Anglican Diocese of New Westminster.
