The speaker for the event will be the Rev. Michael Blair, General Secretary of the United Church of Canada, whose address is entitled: Liberating the Imagination. Michael will also be a recipient of an honouary DD for his work of leadership in the church over many years. An update on the activities of the school and prospects for the future will be offered by the President. Students and faculty will lead the worship and special music will be provided.
Over 40 graduates will receive degrees and diplomas. We will acknowledge the Rev. Alecia Greenfield, winner of the President’s 2023 Thoughtful, Engaged and Generous (TEG) Christian Leader Award. Faculty and students share in the leadership of the service. Special music will be provided by our Musician-in-Residence, Mr. Lonnie Delisle.
A reception will follow the ceremony.
