An Invitation to take a Lenten Journey on Christ Church Cathedral’s Labyrinth

“Walking the labyrinth is a spiritual discipline that invites us to trust the path to surrender
to the many turns our lives take, and to walk through the confusion, the fear, the anger, the grief,
that we cannot avoid experiencing as we live our earthly lives.”
~ Lauren Artress, founder of Veriditas

Christ Church Cathedral’s labyrinth will be available for all visitors to make a Lenten pilgrimage without going very far from home. It is an opportunity to pause for a short time to journey to your spiritual centre, to experience the practice of reflective walking; a time to ask where God is calling you to go and what might you need to release in order to answer this call.

People of all faiths and spiritual disciplines are invited to experience a time for centering, contemplation, reflection and meditation. Christ Church Cathedral’s labyrinth  will be open this month from Monday, March 20 to Friday, March 24, from 10am to 4pm.

A special evening event, “Music of the Labyrinth”, will take place on Friday, March 24, featuring harpist Patricia Sereno, who will accompany “pilgrims” on their journey, in the serene setting of Christ Church Cathedral’s sanctuary.
