On July 1 at 1:30pm the Cathedral along with the Kaleidoscope Institute for Diverse, Sustainable Communities, and the Office of the National Indigenous Archbishop host a song circle and truth telling session on Zoom to further the building of right relations and support Anglican Indigenous Ministries.

Canada’s history of colonization includes acts of physical, emotional, and spiritual violence. Like pebbles in a pond, these actions created ripples that affect multiple generations. Building right relations requires work that slowly takes us deeper into the wounds inflicted upon Canada’s indigenous people. In naming the actions that caused wounds, and learning about the ripples those actions propagated, we shine a light that brings the injustice out of its hiding places.

Anyone who wants to learn what it means to build right relations with Canada's indigenous people is welcome to attend this on-line event.
