Come and hear the Rector of St. Francis-in-the-Wood, Angus Stuart, perform the Gospel of John from start to finish!  Angus has been performing the Gospel of Mark for some years now, including a 28 performance tour of North America a year ago, but this will be the first time Angus has performed the Gospel of John in public.

Angus has been working intensively with a theatre coach to develop the Gospel of John (NRSV) for dramatic presentation, and he is very excited to be able to offer this opportunity to experience the Gospel in this new and unique way.

The first half of the performance covers chapter 1-12 of the Gospel dealing with the life, ministry and teaching of Jesus.  After a short intermission, the second half concludes with the Last Supper discourses, the Passion narrative and the Resurrection appearances.  Following the performance, there will be a reception at which wine/soft drinks will be served and there will be an opportunity to speak with Angus and one another about our experience.

Tickets are available online for $25 each by clicking here.  Proceeds will be split between the St. Francis-in-the-Wood Refugee Sponsorship Fund and the Testament of a Naked Man Ministries Fund.
