The Mission to Seafarers will once again be putting together Christmas gifts to distribute to the seafarers on the ships in the Port of Vancouver over the Christmas period.
This is made possible by donations of items such as socks, toques (made or bought), toothbrushes, toothpaste, chocolate and soap.
It is a way to express gratitude to the men and women of the sea who have done much for us over the last few years and continue to do so almost always at personal cost, being away from loved ones being just one example.
If you can support the ‘Christmas at Sea Appeal’ the deadline to have the items to the Waterfront Seafarers Centre at 401 E Waterfront Rd, Vancouver is Friday 9th December.
