The folks at St. John the Evangelist, North Vancouver are launching a “new kind of service” – CAFÉ CHURCH. Café Church will get going on Saturday, October 1 at 4pm and continue through to June 3, 2017.

The service will take place in St. John’s Lounge at 220 West 8th St., North Vancouver the first Saturdays of the month all at 4pm.  

Each Café Church will feature a guest speaker who will introduce all those who gather to their unique and engaging topic.  

There will be time for interactive conversation, music, and time for prayer and reflection. Of course the great Anglican traditions of Tea and Goodies will be upheld.

  • February 4: Meditation in a Busy World – Allison Brookfield& Juanita Clark
  • March 4: Creator’s in God’s Image – The Reverend Elizabeth Mathers
  • April 1: Is there Humour in the Bible? – Dean Peter Elliott
  • May 13: Everyday Generosity – Dr. Jack Blaney
  • June 3: Many Religions, One God – Dr. Marilyn Chotem
