Under the direction of David Poon, Vespersong is dedicated to keeping the tradition of Choral Evensong alive on the Sunshine Coast.
This service of contemplation is open to all and offered as an opportunity for quiet reflection.
The liturgy will include:
- Preces and Responses, Magnificat and Nunc dimittis by Thomas Tomkins (1572-1656),
- Psalm setting by George Thalben-Ball (1896-1987)
- and the anthem “O King all Glorious” by Healey Willan (1880-1968).
A consort of viols will augment the music in worship
