St. James’ Anglican Church invites the DTES Community to join us in ringing the church bell to honour the missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
Every day for 22 days—from May 31 (first day of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s closing ceremonies in
Ottawa) to June 21 (National Aboriginal Day)—the bell will be rung in solidarity with Indigenous peoples in their cry for justice and for a special commission. For more

Monday to Saturday, at 8:45am and 4:45pm
Enter at the Chapel Walkway on East Cordova just east of Gore
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
at 12noon. Enter the church at 303 East Cordova
Ring the bell 22 times each visit between May 31 and June 21.
